I love traditional music from all over the world. You'll find some of my favorites on my YouTube channel. I used to be a professional classical piano player. Lately I've been doing vocals and mouth harps. Below are my collaborations with Wobbly / Jon Leidecker, a dear friend who is a wizard with electronics. When we're not listening to records of whales and frogs, these are some of the sounds we make together (often along with said recordings of whales and frogs!!).

Now that I've over the hurdle with a 13 year break from playing classical piano to reset how I approach playing, I'm itching to get a wooden tongue drum, and also learn guitar so I can play.... technical death metal.

To me, music is the heart of nature. I would like to make a audio documentary someday about the physics of sound. I think sound, learning to listen deeply, is a key to humanity transitioning back into a healthy relationship with Earth, and to treating each other with respect and equality. <3

mu fa or is a multifarious organism comprised of two people, Magenta and Wobbly. Magenta sings abstract and improvised vocals into a microphone and Wobbly samples and multiplies those vocals into a forest menagerie. A tracking shot of an eagle flying through a valley of mirrors and listening to its own songs reflected back into the sky.
