For a while now I've had experiences of my gender polarity switching or shifting around - identifying more as masculine or feminine, being more attracted to women (ok that one's fairly consistent ) or men... But lately I've been feeling species switching, in terms of how I experience my body and consciousness. I suppose this is part of being a shapeshifter, but most strong for me lately has been feeling like a flower. Feeling like a female flower, and really tuning in to how flowers pollinate and attract pollinators (almost like cross-species sexual mating, or a beautiful symbiosis and transparent offering up of life force). Walking around the streets of Berkeley where there are many lovely diverse flowering plants, admiring the many forms and colors and smells. So amazing! Also, I've been experiencing my body as a reptile's. They are so fascinating, how they move - helps me get my brain out of the way and be more tactile.

Using the Imagination Healing toolkit, we will explore the imagination and learn to heal ourselves through play. We'll play group games such as round-robin storytelling, guided visualization, rites of passage, call and response vocal noises, and shamanic journeywork with trance drumming. Play-act as a different creature, or an aspect of yourself you don't often have the chance to express. Become a child once again and reclaim your power to create the world you truly want to live in. Basic art supplies will be available, and you are welcome to bring your own. Please bring music you'd like to share as well - we can all DJ. This class was developed to provide a participatory, collectively-held container for waking up our extended creative capacities. This is a safe space for you to explore.

I've been having an increased awareness of how plants around me are living conscious things like me. There are many diverse plants around Berkeley in people's yards, so it's fun. It's a big shift in perspective - similar to how if you're on the street observing and listening to the people around you, noticing their movements, the way they speak, how they are feeling. I hope more people tune in to this reality, because coming out of a human-centric paradigm into one where you know that all life, even stones, are "people", too, makes it easier to live a lifestyle that respects the well being and integrity of the luscious diverse organic life system we are but a part of.
While searching for an image to illustrate this post, I found this awesome website on the nature of intelligence - http://jonlieffmd.com/blog/intelligent-plants-use-proteins-and-rna-to-fight-invaders
Link - Geek.com article on silencing Earth's Van Allen Belts
This article says a lot about... I almost typed "the people..." but, this kind of blatant lack of understanding of subtle physics can only come from people trained out of their natural intelligence of what is important and sacred about the world. The Van Allen belts *are* communication belts you dolts. We have planetary telepathy without the internet, and we can "travel" without use of cars, oil mined from the earth and spilled over rainforest, or asphalt paved over beautiful landscapes. I look forward to more indigenous wisdom being shared and given credit as valid science. Quite the opposite of primitive, native peoples understand our oneness with the earth body, and many have traditions of incredibly sophisticated travel (for example how to travel ocean currents), astronomy understanding, and nature's innate supertechnology. That said, I love "western science" and feel it's a valid way of exploring the world, but it must be done with an openness to it not being the only worldview, and with an understanding of the puppetmasters pulling the strings of its funding, its education, and its often profit-driven motives
